Most of the time when people talk about love, they talk about how it feels. You know – the butterflies and racing hearts.
But sometimes, you can see love. You can see it so obviously and so clearly that it’s just undeniable. That couple that just glows when they’re together. You know what I mean. Alone, they’re great. But together, they just beam.
Their smiles change.
Their laugh gets deeper.
And together, they just seem whole.
Claire and Charlie are the epitome of this. Both are incredible by themselves, but together, it’s like a spark is lit. It’s something that you can’t really put into words, but you can see it in them. I had such a great time documenting their wedding day and capturing the love they have together. Enjoy some of my favorites from their Estes Park Resort Wedding!

Claire wore an heirloom ring on her right hand, and wore the garter her mom wore during her wedding. The sentimental side of me loves these little touches.
Claire had all ladies say a prayer with her before the ceremony. It was such a sweet moment, I may have wiped a few tears away myself…
Such a great, personal ceremony at Presbyterian Community Church of the Rockies.
Ria from Nature’s Grace Design is my design idol. The floral designs she puts together are just breathtaking.
Perfect look for a mountain wedding.
Claire loved her bouquet so much that she brought them on the honeymoon! (I totally would have, too. They’re gorgeous!)
Favorite. I mean…their love…you can see it.
Claire and her mom planned most of the wedding together, and they thought of it all – including a piece of lavender on each napkin! These table layouts are SO gorgeous!!
And the view outside of the Estes Park Resort isn’t too shabby either!
Claire and Charlie’s bridal party stood by as the couple did their first dance. I love the extra personal touch that gave to the dance.
Dusk photos are always some of my favorites. Whether there is a beaming sunset or some hazy skies, it’s the perfect time to step away from the reception, take it all in, and add some variety to the portraits from the day. I’m obsessed with how these turned out. The haze gives them such a cozy feel.
And we found elk!
And the nighttime shot. It might just be my favorite part of every wedding.
The day is almost done. The suit jacket is usually off. The bride’s hair shows how much fun she’s had, and everyone is relaxed. The romance, though, is bigger than ever.
Perfect exit for Charlie & Claire – a glow stick exit! SO much fun and guests loved it!!
Charlie & Claire – I wish you nothing but the absolute best!! You two are the perfect example of love at it’s finest 🙂
