Travis and Jenny are not only a great couple together, but they’re great friends, too. I remember when we were all having a “date night” and Travis and Jenny were telling us about their wedding plans. The colors, the venue, the bridal party. And then they said, “And we’ve decided on a photographer, too. Katie, would you shoot our wedding for us?” And there I was, totally humbled as two of my very best friends asked me to photograph their big day. I couldn’t think of a bigger compliment they could give me.

Soon enough, their big day was here, and it was perfect. Everything from the timing to the weather (even on their November day) went on without a hitch. Thank you, Travis and Jenny, for letting me be a part of your special day!

I love taking couples to a third location for photos in between the ceremony and reception. It’s even better when it’s a spot that holds memories for the couple. For Travis and Jenny, that meant Chessman Park/Washington Park. Perfect spot for some afternoon photos!

OK, I admit I had a thing for photographing the cute galoshes. But who wouldn’t?

Travis proposed to Jenny with a lego-ring box. So, the lego couple on top of their cake was the perfect touch.

Travis and Jenny, or shall I say Mr. and Mrs., I wish you nothing but years of happiness and love together. Oh, and lots of date nights with us, too! 🙂
