I love having close relationships with my couples and getting to know them. It always ends up feeling like we have known each other for years. And with Stephanie, I really have. When she first contacted me in 2012, her boyfriend hadn’t even proposed, but she worked for mywedding.com, and what started as a business chat soon turned into talks about her someday-wedding. Steph even emailed me to congratulate me on my pregnancy with Emmett, and before we knew it, Brian proposed and our little chats turned into talks about her wedding.
As I’ve gotten to know Stephanie and Brian, I’ve gotten to know their love for each other. They have this soft love between the two of them. They can say whole messages with just a little glance. Stephanie leans on Brian in a way that lets you know she trusts him completely. When they chose to have a Villa Parker wedding, I knew it would be the perfect fit for them. The venue is just as romantic, sentimental, and sweet as they are.
Enjoy some of my favorites from Steph and Brian’s big day.
The long awaited moment where Brian saw his bride walk down the aisle was finally here.
Cherry Hills Community Church was such a beautiful location for the ceremony.
Those smiles say it all!
A quick stop at Daniel’s Park before the reception at Villa Parker was the most perfect spot for photos.
I work with the greatest second shooters. While I’m capturing group shots, they get the most amazing candids. Thanks, Kayla!
This just melts me.
Steph & Brian did the perfect job of adding their personality into the elegant decor they chose for their reception. A subtle baseball theme with ballpark centerpieces was so unique!
First dance outside? Yes please.
Stephanie used lace from her mom’s wedding bouquet and tied on her grandma’s engagement and wedding ring. Sentimental in a way that just pulls at my heartstrings.
No outdoor reception would be complete without awesome yard games like Mega Jenga.
Steph made their cake – completely out of rice crispie treats! And to “top it off”, she used the cake topper from her parent’s wedding. So. Cute.
Villa Parker has an incredible open field we used for some sunset shots – so beautiful!
Favorite.
Favorite #2
Stephanie & Brian – it was a complete honor to get to know you and be a part of such a wonderful day. Your love for each other is just so beautiful. And not only are you a fabulous couple, but you are fabulous friends, and I can’t wait to watch more of your story unfold.
