After being a Colorado wedding photographer for more than a decade, there are certain things that I have come to believe without any shadow of a doubt. These things resonate with me as I photography couples and families, and as I go through my own life with my husband and two kids. I’m reminded of different ones at different weddings, and they all strike a chord with me a in a slightly different way. At Kasey and Josh’s Wellshire wedding, I was reminded all day of something I’ve come to realize time and time again.

Best friends make the best partners.

Kasey and Josh are this. Pardon my cliche, but they’re two peas in a pod. One glances at the other, and the other knows what they are thinking. One smiles, and the other one starts to giggle. One reaches for a hand, the other one squeezes. They are each other’s best friends, and I truly believe that because of that – they will have an incredible marriage. Best friends make the best partners. That’s exactly as it should be.

I am in LOVE with the light, airy feel of the decor! And tulips are just the most perfect wedding flower. So simple, but so sophisticated.

Sparkler exits are my FAVORITE. They’re restricted at lots of venues because of fire hazards, but luckily at a Wedgewood wedding, there’a a cement exit path that makes it safe! These photos just put such a great end on the story.
